You are requested to attend a joint meeting of the City Council City Property Committee and Committee of the Whole, to be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 3^rd Floor, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

*THIS MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OFFICE, ROOM 303.  HOWEVER, THE ELEVATOR IN CITY HALL MAY BE OUT OF SERVICE.   IF THE ELEVATOR IS OUT OF SERVICE, THE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE BASEMENT OF CITY HALL, WHICH IS ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

 

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     Public Input Period.

 

A portion of this meeting may be held in Executive Session pursuant to § 42-46-4 and § 42-46-5 (A)(5) of the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island regarding the acquisition or lease of real property for public purposes.

 

2.     Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between Kenwood Realty, LLC, Sabin Realty, LLC, Freight Realty, LLC and 330 Realty, LLC and the City of Pawtucket

 

3.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE AND SALES AGREEMENT BETWEEN KENWOOD REALTY, LLC, SABIN REALTY, LLC, FREIGHT REALTY, LLC AND 330 REALTY, LLC AND THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET FOR THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 100 FREIGHT STREET (AP8 L417); 25 FREIGHT STREET (AP8 L415 L399); 75 SABIN STREET (AP8 L416); 330 COTTAGE STREET (AP8 L414) IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $14.8 MILLION.
