Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on September 23, 2020.  However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes. 

 

Therefore, for the Public Input Period the Council is accepting email testimony at cityclerkc19@pawtucketri.com until 5:00 p.m. on September 23, 2020.  Please type COUNCIL INPUT in the Subject box.

SUBJECT:      FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 5:40 p.m.  The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s order 20-25, 20-46, 20-53, 20-63 and 20-75.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD (Must call in 5 minutes prior to the meeting) 

 

2.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, REAL ESTATE AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH, 2020 IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $55,505.17

 

3.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, REAL ESTATE AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR APRIL, MAY AND JUNE, 2020 IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $75,440.36

     

4.     AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING THE SCHEDULE OF PAY RATES FOR LOCAL 1012 IN §88-12 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, (Police Signal Operator)
