ALTERNATE MEANS OF PARTICIPATION

FINANCE COMMITTEE WILL BE SHOWN LIVE ONLINE ON THE NOVEMBER 24, 2020 DOCKET AND UNDER SUBCOMMITTEE AGENDA AT https://clerkshq.com/Pawtucket-ri

 

Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on November 24, 2020.  However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes. 

 

Therefore, for the Public Input Period the Council is accepting email testimony at cityclerkc19@pawtucketri.com until 5:00 p.m. on November 24, 2020.  Please type COUNCIL INPUT in the Subject box.

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.  The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s Executive Orders up to and including 20-93.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD (Must call in 5 minutes prior to the meeting) 

 

2.     RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PAWTUCKET REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO ACQUIRE THE “APEX SITE” FOR REDEVELOPMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE FINANCING OF SUCH ACQUISITION AND REDEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS, NOTES, OR OTHER EVIDENCES OF INDEBTEDNESS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS ($20,000,000)
