Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on June 24, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes.

You are requested to attend a joint meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, City Property Committee, and Committee of the Whole, to be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 6:15 p.m. The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s orders 20-25 and 20-46.
The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:
1. Public Input Period.
2. Communication from Jeanne M. Boyle, Director of Commerce, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Dexter Street Commons Project)
3. Communication from Robert W. Burns, Tax Assessor, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Purchase of Beatty Street Parking Lot – AP44 L532)
4. Appraisal Report from Coyle Appraisal Companies, to Jeanne Boyle, Director of Commerce. (For Property Located at 532 Beatty Street)
5. Communication from Leland A. Peyser, Peyser Real Estate Group, to the Honorable Mayor Donald R. Grebien and Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Request to Purchase City Owned Parking Lot on Beatty Street and request for a Tax Stabilization Agreement)
This meeting is being called by Councilor Barry, Chair of the Finance Committee and Councilor Wildenhain, Chair of the City Property Committee.
