PUBLIC WORKS/CEMETERY COMMITTEE WILL BE SHOWN LIVE ONLINE ON THE JUNE 10, 2020 DOCKET AND UNDER SUBCOMMITTEE AGENDA AT https://clerkshq.com/Pawtucket-ri

 

Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on June 10, 2020.  However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes. 

 

Therefore, for the Public Input Period the Council is accepting email testimony at cityclerkc19@pawtucketri.com until 5:15 p.m. on June 10, 2020.  Please type COUNCIL INPUT in the Subject box.

You are requested to attend a meeting of the Public Works/Cemeteries Committee, to be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 6:20 p.m. The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s order 20-25.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     Public Input Period.

 

2.     Communication from Susan Mara, Director of Planning & Redevelopment, to the Honorable City Council (Pawtucket/Central Falls Commuter Rail Station – Construction and Maintenance Agreement)

 

3.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TRANSIT EMPHASIS CORRIDOR (TEC) IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PAWTUCKET/CENTRAL FALLS BUS HUB AND COMMUTER RAIL STATION

 

4.     Communication from Susan Mara, Director of Planning & Redevelopment, to the Honorable City Council (Town Landing Construction Project – Request to Ratify the Design, Construction and Maintenance Agreement Between RIDOT and the City of Pawtucket)

 

5.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET FOR THE PAWTUCKET TOWN LANDING PROJECT.

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Kallman, Chair of the Public Works/Cemeteries Committee.
