ALTERNATE MEANS OF PARTICIPATION

 

 

Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on July 8, 2020.  However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes. 

 

Therefore, for the Public Input Period the Council is accepting email testimony at cityclerkc19@pawtucketri.com until 5:00 p.m. on July 8, 2020.  Please type COUNCIL INPUT in the Subject box.

 

Any person desiring to be heard by telephone on July 8th, may call the following number at the time listed below:

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 6:35 p.m.  The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s order 20-25 and 20-46.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD (Must call in 5 minutes prior to the meeting)

 

2.      THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE IS TO BE INDEFINITELY POSTPONED:

 

         AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTERS 210 AND 104 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “FIRE PREVENTION” AND “ALARM SYSTEMS” (FALSE ALARMS)
