You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee to be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 5:35 p.m., in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     Public Input Period.

 

2.     Communication from Louis Shapiro, VP, Strategic Partnerships, to the Honorable David P. Moran, President, Pawtucket City Council, requesting a 10-year personal property tax stabilization agreement for Change Health Care at 100 Freight Street.

 

3.     Communication from Robert W. Burns, Tax Assessor, to John J. Barry, III, and the Members of the Finance Committee.  (Recommendation for Personal Property Tax Stabilization for Change Healthcare)

 

4.     Communication from Susan Mara, Director of Planning and Redevelopment, to John J. Barry, III, and the Members of the Finance Committee.  (Recommendation for Personal Property Tax Stabilization for Change Healthcare)

 

5.     RESOLUTION REGARDING REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES RELATING TO THE TIDEWATER LANDING PROJECT

 

6.     RESOLUTION REGARDING REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES RELATING TO PAWTUCKET’S PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX           

 

7.     AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING THE SCHEDULE OF PAY RATES FOR LOCAL 1012 IN §88-12 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996.  (Reclassify Chief Accountant from R49 to R53)

 

8.     RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, REAL ESTATE AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, 2019, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $93,988.92
