Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on August 27, 2020.  However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes. 

 

Therefore, for the Public Input Period the Council is accepting email testimony at cityclerkc19@pawtucketri.com until 3:30 p.m. on August 27, 2020.  Please type COUNCIL INPUT in the Subject box.

SUBJECT:      FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.  The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s order 20-25, 20-46, 20-53 and 20-63.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD (Must call in 5 minutes prior to the meeting) 

 

2.     Communication from Gerard Charbonneau, chairperson, Pawtucket School Committee, to the Pawtucket City Council.  (Pawtucket School Committee/ Pawtucket Teachers Alliance, Local 930, A.F.T., A.F.L.-C.I.O.)

 

3.     Tentative Agreement between the Pawtucket Teachers’ Alliance, Local 930, and the Pawtucket School Department. (September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2023)

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor John J. Barry, III, Chair, Finance Committee.
