Understanding the people have a vested interest in the operation of their government, the Pawtucket City Council intends to allow the public to have input at their meeting on August 5, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Council wants to be sure that everyone will do so safely from their homes.

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at 6:20 p.m. The Committee will meet via videoconference on ZOOM during the COVID-19 pandemic, per Governor’s order 20-25, 20-46 and 20-53.
The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:
1. PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD (Must call in 5 minutes prior to the meeting)
2. Communication from Jeanne Boyle, Commerce Director/Executive Director of the Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Request of PRA for Abatement of Middle Street Back Taxes)
3. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TAX ABATEMENT FOR PAST TAXES ON PRA PROPERTIES ON MIDDLE STREET
