You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Substance Abuse/Dare Fund Committee, to be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      Communication from Diane Dufresne, Director Pawtucket Prevention Coalition, to Richard J. Goldstein, MMC, City Clerk and Councilor Vitali. (Presentation of the CODE Grant and Health Equity Zone)

 

3.      DRAFT CHANGES TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE/DARE ORDINANCES: 

Chapter 388. Vehicles and Traffic, Article I. General Provisions, Section 388-5 Violations and Penalties  Chapter 347. Solid Waste, Article VI. Recycling, Section 347-39. Ownership of recyclables; savaging prohibit; violations and penalties; allocation of fines.

 

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Albert J. Vitali, Jr., Chairperson of the Substance Abuse/DARE Fund Committee.
