SUBJECT:     JOINT MEETING OF THE ORDINANCE & AD HOC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEES

You are requested to attend a joint meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee and Ad Hoc Committee on Economic Development & Neighborhood Improvement, to be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 6:45 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     Public Input Period.

 

2.     Communication from Jeanne Boyle, Commerce Director, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council regarding Conant Thread TOD Zoning Ordinance and submitting the following amendment to the ordinance establishing the Conant Thread District:

 

Delete the following section in its entirety

 

§ 410-43.16: INCLUSIONARY HOUSING

3.     AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING” ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CONANT THREAD ZONING DISTRICT (CT)

 

4.     *Communication from Susan Mara, Director of Planning and Redevelopment, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council, regarding Notice and Properties in the Proposed Conant Thread District including the properties at 45 Park Place and 389 Main Street.

 

5.     AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING” CHANGE IN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP (CONANT THREAD DISTRICT)

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Terrence Mercer, Chairperson of the Ordinance Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee on Economic Development & Neighborhood Improvement.
