You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 5:25 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.     Public Input Period.

 

2.     Communication from Andy Horwitz, Professor and Assistant Dean for Experiential Education, Roger Williams University School of Law, to Michelle R. Hardy, CMC, Deputy City Clerk.  (Proposed Revisions to Code to decriminalize all provisions carrying a criminal penalty)

 

3.     AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING” (Little Free Libraries)

 

4.     AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING” (Medical Marijuana)

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Terrence Mercer, Chairperson of the Ordinance Committee.
