SUBJECT:      FINANCE COMMITTEE & COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

You are requested to attend a joint meeting of the City Council Finance Committee and the Committee of the Whole, to be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, immediately following the Public Hearing on the Municipal Budget scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. The joint Committee will meet in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      Communication from Denise Panichas, Executive Director, the Samaritans of RI, to the Honorable Mayor Donald R. Grebien and the Honorable John J. Barry, III, Pawtucket City Council Finance Committee Chairman, requesting support of a $500 appropriation for Suicide Prevention.

 

3.      Communication from Donna Nesselbush, Chief Judge, Pawtucket Municipal Court, to the Honorable John Barry, Chair, Finance Committee.  (Televising Municipal Court)

 

4.      PROPOSED BUDGET AMENDMENT – MUNICIPAL COURT:

 

            Increase Revenue
