You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      Previous Minutes (9/7/2016 & 9/21/2016)

 

3.      Communication from Susan Mara, Acting Director of Planning and Redevelopment, to Michael F. Horan, Esq.  (Request to Amend City’s Zoning Ordinance to allow for Electronic Message Centers within Manufacturing Open Zones)

 

4.      Communication from Jay Rosa, Senior Planner, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council.  (Planning Commission’s Recommendation regarding Electronic Message Centers)

 

5.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING”.  CHANGE IN THE ALLOWANCE OF ELECTRONIC MESSAGING CENTERS (EMCs) BY SPECIAL PERMIT WITHIN MANUFACTURING/INDUSTRIAL OPEN (MO) DISTRICTS.

 

6.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING”.  (Home Occupation by Right within Mill Redevelopments) SUBSTITUTE A

 

7.      THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE TO BE INDEFINITELY POSTPONED:

 

AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 410 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, ENTITLED “ZONING” (Home Occupation by Right for Legal Residents)
