SUBJECT:      FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, immediately following the Public Hearing on the Municipal Budget scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. The Finance Committee will meet in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      Communication from Denise Panichas, Executive Director, the Samaritans of RI, to the Honorable Mayor Donald R. Grebien and the Honorable John J. Barry, III, Pawtucket City Council Finance Committee Chairman, requesting support of a $500 appropriation for Suicide Prevention.

 

3.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 88 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “SALARIES AND COMPENSATION” (BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS)

 

4.      CAPITAL BUDGET ORDINANCE 2016-2017

 

5.      CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ORDINANCE 2017-2021

 

6.      ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET ORDINANCE 2016-2017

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Barry, Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
