You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 5:40 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 88 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “SALARIES AND COMPENSATION” (BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS)

 

3.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 2583 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, ADJUSTING THE SALARIES OF MEMBERS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, WHICH ARE ALREADY PAID, BY 50% OF THE AVERAGE OF THE CONSUMER PRICE INDEX INCREASE BEGINNING JANUARY, 2017 AND EVERY TWO YEARS THEREAFTER.

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Barry, Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
