SUBJECT:      JOINT ORDINANCE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING.

You are requested to attend a joint meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee and Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      Public Input Period.

 

2.      Review of a discrepancy on the COLA benefits for police and firefighter widows between a resolution approved on June 8, 2006 and ordinance Chapter 2836, which was passed on December 15, 2006.

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Hodge, Chair of the Ordinance Committee and Councilor Barry, Chair of the Finance Committee.
