You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at 5:50 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.   Public Input Period.

 

2.   Previous Minutes (09/14/2015 & 10/21/2015)

 

3.   Application of Dexter Street Lofts LLC for a ten-year property tax stabilization for 60 Dexter Street.

 

4.   Communication from Barney S. Heath, Director, Planning & Redevelopment, to Council President David P. Moran, (Recommendation in favor of Dexter Street Lofts, LLC Ten Year Tax Stabilization Request)

 

5.   RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET APPROVING THE FINANCING OF REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS, RENOVATION, IMPROVEMENTS AND EQUIPPING OF SCHOOLS AND SCHOOL FACILITIES IN THE CITY AND APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS, NOTES, EVIDENCES OF INDEBTEDNESS OR APPROPRIATION OBLIGATIONS THEREFORE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000,000.

 

6.   RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO UTILIZE $687,517 OF THE FY2015 SURPLUS TO PAY OFF THE BALANCE OWED TO MTG FOR THE BLUE RECYCLING BINS

 

7.   AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES FOR CLASSIFIED NON-UNION POSITIONS AND REPEALING CHAPTER 3008 IN ITS ENTIRETY AS AMENDED.

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Barry, Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
