You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ad Hoc Committee on Economic Development & Neighborhood Improvement, to be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 5:45 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.   Public Input Period.

 

2.   Previous Minutes (02/25/2015)

 

3.   Quarterly report on any new business interest in our City-Downtown – to be sent to the City Council.

 

4.   Are we in current negotiations with any new businesses looking to relocate here in Pawtucket?

 

5.   A total count on businesses that have expressed interest and have actually received the new tax treaty agreement that the Administration now has control of that the Council approved.

 

6.   What is the marketing plan from Planning and the Administration? This was an item that the Administration wanted the Council to fund in the Budget. Can we get a copy of this plan? Who has seen it?

 

7.   What is the total count on empty buildings in downtown Pawtucket? What are we doing to fill those?

 

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Timothy P. Rudd, Chairperson of the Ad Hoc Committee on Economic Development & Neighborhood Improvement
