You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.   Public Input Period.

 

2.   Previous Minutes 2/11/2015

 

3.   Communication from Osvaldo Rodrigues, on behalf of Racionalismo Cristao filial de Pawtucket, to the Pawtucket City Council.  (Requesting Tax Exempt Status and support of H-5127)

 

4.   AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 363 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “TAXATION.” (TAX STABILIZATION FOR EXPANSION OR RENOVATION OF ANY EXISTING FACILITY, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FACILITY, THE ADDITION OF TANGIBLE BUSINESS PROPERTY OR LEASEHOLD IMPROVEMENTS), AS AMENDED

 

5.   RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES ON AUTOMOBILES, REAL ESTATE, AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $354,123.64 FOR JULY, AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER, 2014
