You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Finance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at 6:05 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.   Public Input Period.

 

2.   Previous Minutes (12/10/2014 and 01/21/2015)

 

3.   Communication from Osvaldo Rodrigues, on behalf of Racionalismo Cristao filial de Pawtucket, to the Pawtucket City Council.  (Requesting an Tax Exempt Status and support of H-5127)

 

4.   AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF WATER REVENUE BONDS AND NOTES IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS ($11,000,000) FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PAWTUCKET WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM.

 

5.   AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 363 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “TAXATION.” (TAX STABILIZATION FOR EXPANSION OR RENOVATION OF ANY EXISTING FACILITY, CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FACILITY, THE ADDITION OF TANGIBLE BUSINESS PROPERTY OR LEASEHOLD IMPROVEMENTS)

 

6.   Recommendation on the Continuation of the Contract with LGC&D for Auditing Services for FY 2015.

 

7.   THE FOLLOWING REQUEST TO BE POSTPONED INDEFINITELY:

 

Communication from Roger A. Lemoie, Chairman, Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency, to the City Council President, David P. Moran, requesting a tax treaty for 175 Main Street.

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Barry, Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
