You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee, to be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

2.   Previous Minutes (09/10/2014)

 

3.   Communication from Richard J. Goldstein, MMC, City Clerk, to the License Committee.  (Council’s Request to Discuss Parades) – Referred from the License Committee.

 

4.   Communication from Steve Brown, Executive Director, American Civil Liberties Union of RI; Jim Ryczek, Executive Director, RI Coalition for Homeless; and Barbara Kalil and Megan Smith, RI Advocacy Project, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council.  (soliciting for Money along City Streets)

 

5.   AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 351 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “STREETS AND SIDEWALKS – ARTICLE XI, PEDESTRIANS” (ESTABLISHING GUIDELINES FOR SOLICITING DONATIONS)

 

6.   §88 6-10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pawtucket entitled, “Establishment or abolishment of municipal positions.”

 

This meeting is being called by Councilor Thomas E. Hodge, Chairperson of the Ordinance Committee.
