A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 6:56 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Mercer presided.
The reading of the records of May 8, 2024 and May 16, 2024 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, 
Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the agenda was amended to include the following objections, on a unanimous voice vote:
Communication from Gregory A. Mancini, Esq., Sinapi Law Associates, to the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, objecting to the transfer of the Class B (Victualler) Liquor License of Murphy’s Law (Pawtucket GR Restaurant LLC) to Azul Tequila Bar & Mexican Grill (Azulpaw LLC) 2 George Street, in the total amount of $5,395.00 for Mancini Beverage and $954.00 for Horizon Beverage.
Communication from Keith E. Fayan, Esq., Fayan Law, to Richard J. Goldstein, City Clerk, objecting to the transfer of the Class B (Victualler) Liquor License of Murphy’s Law (Pawtucket GR Restaurant LLC) to Azul Tequila Bar & Mexican Grill (Azulpaw LLC) 2 George Street, in the amount of $9,464.27 for the Pawtucket’s Business Development Corporation.

Speaking was Brett Malenfant, 111 Ricard Street, Seekonk, MA, applicant.
Mr. Malenfant stated that the whole establishment will be redone. It will have authentic Mexican cuisine.
He has 25 years of experience in restaurants.
The hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., 7 days a week.
There will use the outdoor patio.
There were no other speakers. The hearing was closed.
