A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 6:50 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moran, Moreno and Rubio.

 

Absent – Councilors Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

 

Chairperson Mercer presided.

 

The reading of the records of April 24, 2024 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk,

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

Mr. Ahamiojie stated that this is first time selling Hookah for them.  They understand the revenue requirements for a smoking bar.

 

They share a lot with the YMCA.

 

There are six partners in the corporation.

 

They ask about removing the stipulation on entertainment.

 

There were no other speakers.

 

The hearing was closed.
