A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 7:03 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

Mancini, Esq., Sinapi Law Associates, to the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, objecting to the transfer of the Class A Liquor License of East Street Liquors (Manmar Inc.) to East Street Liquors (Sai Ram LLC) 183 East Street, in the total amount of $11,066 for Mancini Beverage and $9,562.00 for Horizon Beverage.

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moran, the following objections were READ AND ORDERED FILED:

Mr. Akers stated that Ms. Sonali Patel is TIPS Certified, all others employees will be as well.  There will be no changes to the business or hours of operation. 

 

He noted that Ms. Patel worked at the Ramada Inn.

 

Mr. Patel stated that he has worked at liquor establishments in Rehoboth.

 

There were no other speakers.  The hearing was closed.
