A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 7:11 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. Video

 

Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilor Coderre.

 

Chairperson Mercer presided.

 

The reading of the records of September 6, 2023 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, Video

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moran, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote. Video

Also, present was Jeff Millette, 150 Fieldwood Avenue, Seekonk, MA, applicant.

 

Mr. Millette stated that this area has much development.

 

He has been an auto dealer for many years. He will be selling classic, exotic and muscle cars.

 

He will have five employees. 

 

He will sell used vehicles.  There will be no work on outside cars; only on his own cars.  He has done a lot of clean up.  The building is an open warehouse. There is plenty of room to put in a lift to work on his cars.

 

He will have regular business hours during the week and by appointment on weekends.  He hopes to be in by the end of year.

 

He will have a glass showroom.  The body work will be sent off-site.  There will be nothing stored outside.

 

There were no other speakers. The hearing was closed.
