A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 7:21 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 
Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Mercer presided.
The reading of the records of June 7, 2023 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, 
Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

Mr. Diaz stated that he is a licensed barber, with a barber shop in Central Falls.
He has a tattoo license. He wants to use tattoo for people that are losing their hair.
Scalp pigmentation is a form of permanent make-up. He serves men and women.
He does not do regular tattoos.
He is certified for scalp pigmentation, blood borne pathogens and CPR.
Haircuts will be done in the Central Falls shop, so there will be no cross contamination.
The hours will be Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., to start.

Mr. Garcia stated that he doesn’t know what else he can do to clean up the property.
He cleaned and painted the side of the building. He cleaned up the back.
He will contact the Zoning office to ask that they come to his business to show him what still needs to be done.

The Pawtucket Fire Department had questions. They asked if 4,000 people is a realistic number for attendance. They also had questions on the number of tents and entertainment.
Speaking is Francisco Amado, 5 Kids Way, Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Amado stated that there were 8,000 people last year, but are expecting less this year. They had done the same for three years. They will have several tents, including nine for food service. Alcohol service will begin after 2:00 p.m.
