Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 7:17 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 
Present – President Moran, Councilors Araujo, DaRosa, Gregor, Mercer, Stachowiak, Vasquez and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Schuette.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of September 7, 2022 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, 
Upon motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by Councilor Araujo, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

Ms. Morel is a new buyer. She has 3 years of experience in the liquor business.
Everyone is TIPS certified.
She is ok with the current stipulations.

THE FOLLOWING REVIEW OF A DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS REGULATION STIPULATION WAS POSTPONED AT THE SEPTEMBER 7, 2022 MEETING AND IS AGAIN TAKEN UP: 
Review of DBR required Detail Officers at FabCity Cigar Lounge, 1438 Newport Avenue.
Stipulation.
1. Two Police detail on weekend nights (Friday and Saturday nights) and any night before a State Holiday, as well as on a State Holiday.
Mark Welch and Major Holden discuss the matter with the board.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MERCER.
Upon motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by Councilor Gregor, the DBR stipulation on FabCity Cigar Lounge, is REDUCED FROM TWO TO ONE DETAIL OFFICER AND IS TO BE REVIEWED AGAIN AT THE FIRST MEETING IN DECEMBER 2022.
Review of DBR required Detail Officers at FabCity Cigar Lounge, 1438 Newport Avenue.
Stipulation.
1. One Police detail on weekend nights (Friday and Saturday nights) and any night before a State Holiday, as well as on a State Holiday. Shall be reviewed again at the first meeting in December 2022.
