A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 7:13 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Moran, Councilors Araujo, DaRosa, Gregor, Mercer, Schuette, Stachowiak, Vasquez and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – 0.

 

Chairperson Moran presides.

 

The reading of the records of March 9, 2022 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk,

Speaking in favor is Edgar Barillas, 228 Glenwood Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, applicant.

 

Mr. Barillas states that he will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

He may extend the hours in the summer.

 

Servers will be TIPS certified.

 

He has parking for 8 cars plus street parking.  He also has arrangements to use other lots.

 

There are no other speakers. The hearing is closed.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR GREGOR.

 

With majority consent of the Board, the following motion made by Councilor Gregor, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Captain David Holden, Police Department, requesting that he provide the Board with an update on the investigation of the March 5^th shooting outside the Dante Alighieri Social Club and any recommendations he may have regarding the incident.
