A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 6:50 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 
Present – President Moran, Councilors Araujo, DaRosa, Gregor, Mercer, Schuette, Stachowiak, Vasquez and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of February 9, 2022 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, 
Upon motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by Councilor Sshuette, the *Consent Agenda is APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilors Schuette and Stachowiak, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Tina Goncalves, Chief of Police and Captain David Holden, requesting that when Fab City reopens to selling alcohol per the DBR stay order, that your officers go by the establishment after the 11:00 pm closing time on those nights when there aren’t already detail officers there to make sure they are in compliance with the order. It is the Board’s understanding that like a 1:00 a.m. closing, last call must be at 10:45 p.m., all patrons must be out of the establishment at 11:20 p.m. and all employees must be out at 11:30 p.m.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR ARAUJO.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Araujo, on behalf of Council President Moran, seconded by Councilor Vasquez, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to the RI Department of Revenue, Division of Taxation, to request that they hold an investigation of FabCity Cigar Lounge, 1438 Newport Avenue, to determine if they are meeting the revenue requirements of a smoking bar pursuant to state law.
The Board understands that the Division of Taxation cannot provide confidential taxpayer information on the establishment. However, they are hopeful that the Division can and will keep the Board updated on the status of the investigations and will be able to provide them with the results of the investigation, including any penalties assessed for any violations that are found.
Upon motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by Councilor Schuette, the meeting is adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
