A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 7:21 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. Video

 

Present – President Moran, Councilors Araujo, DaRosa, Mercer, Schuette, Stachowiak and Vasquez.

 

Absent – Councilors Gregor and Wildenhain.

Ms. Proto states for the record that this will not be a night club.

 

Mr. Sullivan states that he brings 15 years of experience in the business.  He has a security plan and training manual that he can share with the Council.   They plan to have 10-12 employees and security will be in-house people.  They hope to be open by September 1, 2022.

 

Mr. Sullivan states that he has a good relationship with the Pawtucket Police.

 

 

The next speaker in favor is John Madden, III, 301 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Mr. Madden states that he is the caretaker of that building.  He states that the applicants are good people and will do the right things.
