A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 6:58 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barry, Cano, Kallman, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – 0.

 

Chairperson Moran presides.

 

 

The reading of the records of January 24, 2018 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Speaking is Thomas Brennan, 8 Kirkbrae Drive, Lincoln, RI, license holder.

 

Mr. Brennan is questioned about an incident that took place in the early hours of December 26, 2017.

 

Mr. Brennan states that the incident in question was on Christmas night; they were not selling alcohol, but were slow to clean up.  He states that there are no excuses.

 

Mr. Brennan was not present that night. The person in charge that night has worked with Mr. Brennan for 13 years.

 

Mr. Brennan states that a person got in the middle door of the pub at 2:15 a.m.  That should not have happened.

 

To try to avoid problems, they have last call at 20 before 1:00 a.m. and try to get all patrons out by 1:05 a.m.
