THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR KALLMAN.

 

With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Kallman, seconded by Councilor Rudd, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to the police and zoning departments requesting that they pay close attention to the strip mall located at 904-908 Main Street, which includes Di Nos Restaurant, a laundromat, Golden LiLai Restaurant, and soon the Mamajuana Restaurant.

 

At the hearing for the Mamajuana Restaurant, a letter was submitted by an abutter in opposition to the application because of problems occurring in that area.  The Board approved the application for Mamajuana, but they also requested that both departments watch for the issues noted in the letter and that they report back to the Board on any issues that occur.
