A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 6:48 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barry, Cano, Kallman, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of September 6, 2017 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Mr. Duval states that there is not much trash. They recycle all cardboard. They have a small dumpster for trash.

Mr. Silva states that they are bringing in an upscale lounge for people 25 and over.
There will be about eight items on the menu.
The establishment will be more classy and relaxing, so people could have fun and feel safe.
The establishment will hold 50-60 people.
The hours will be 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Wednesday thru Sunday.
For parking the patrons will utilize the street and the parking garage. They would look into sharing the parking lot with News Café.
They will have 9 employees.
Ms. Silva states that they don’t have restaurant experience, but they hired someone with 20 years of experience.
Mr. Silva states that they will have a dress code.
Also, they will have a 3-person security team and rules posted inside the business.
Speaking is Renee Desrosiers, 1395 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI.
Ms. Desrosiers states that she will set up a designated driver program. If three or more people come together, the designated driver will get in for free and get free non-alcoholic drinks.
