A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 7:06 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barry, Kallman, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Cano.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of February 08, 2017 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Speaking in favor is George Matta, 30 Church Street, Belmont, MA, the applicant and his Attorney Michael Horan, 393 Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Horan states that this business will be a cigar bar.
He states that Mr. Matta is an attorney and sole owner of White Ash Lounge, Inc.
Mr. Matta states that he was a partner in a café in Belmont, MA. He was part of a corporation held a liquor license in Boston. There were no problems at either place.
The hours will be 11 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., seven days a week.
He will have a manager and three or four employees.
He will have a piano player and maybe a saxophone player for background music.
He will target the Boston and Providence market.
He will sell cigars for between $15-20 dollars.
All employees will be TIPS certified.
The business is located in the former American Insulated Wire building.
He has 15 spaces in the lot behind the building for parking.
There are no other speakers.
The hearing is closed.
