A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at 6:59 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barry, Cano, Kallman, Mercer, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Rudd.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of December 6, 2017 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Mr. Lopez tried to lease property on Cottage Street, but there was no agreement reached.
The business will be automotive repair and used tires.
He will be only the employee at this time.
There will be a limit of three to four cars outside.

The business is across the street from Ollie’s Pizza.
There will be about 30 seats.
They have access to the parking lot behind the building.
It will be a restaurant/lounge with DJ music, with emphasis on the food, not entertainment.
He is aware of the nearby elderly high-rise, which is why they are going to run a restaurant/lounge, not a club. That is why the main focus is the food, not music.
He has run International Billar for 6 years.
There will be eight employees on average.
He thinks that the cap is 150 people.
They have no problem if the matter is postponed until Councilor Rudd has a chance to review the matter.
There are no other speakers.

Councilor Barry is concerned because the license holder is not here.
