A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at 12:33 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors, Barry, Bray, Cano, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilor Tetreault.

 

Chairperson Moran presides.

 

The reading of the records of July 8, 2015 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Councilor Barry wants something in writing from the owner of the Quick Mart regarding parking in their lot.

With majority consent of the Board, the following motion made by Councilor Barry, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Mike Burns, Traffic Engineer, requesting that he meet with Werner Padilla and/or Evelyn Galindo, partners of a proposed new bakery at 617 Prospect Street. The Board is concerned about the lack of parking around that location and is requesting that he meet with them at the Prospect Street site to determine if there is anywhere nearby where he could add on-street parking for the bakery.

 

 

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR HODGE.

 

With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Hodge introduces the following communication:

 

Communication from Eleanor Langham, Old Slater Mill Association, to Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners. (Requesting a downgrade on a Liquor License Application from a Class F-1 (Full Privilege) to a Class F (Beer & Wine).

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Mercer, the following communication is READ AND ORDERED FILED:
