A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 7:25 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors, Barry, Bray, Cano, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – 0.

Mrs. Oliveira states that the hours will be Monday thru Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

 

There is an area downstairs for events and the upstairs will be the restaurant.

 

There is an agreement with the neighbor for eight parking spots in front and other spaces in the back, for a total of 25.

 

Mrs. Oliveira has restaurant experience.

Councilor Mercer states that the chains are not put up and the workers are not taking breaks in designated area as required by their stipulations.

 

Mr. Pereira states that he has been store manager for four months

 

He states that they will adhere to stipulations.

 

Councilor Mercer states that yesterday, an employee parked in the area where he shouldn’t be.

 

He states that the neighbors have trouble renting units.

 

Councilor Mercer states that the managers must stay on the top of adherence.

 

Mr. Wolfe states that he met with all employees about adherence.

 

He asks when there problems with neighbor will stop.

 

He states that they never had OSHA or other problems.

 

Councilor Mercer states that it will stop when they abide by the stipulations.
