A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 7:15 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – 0.

 

Chairperson Moran presides.

Ms. Dourado states that she managed a place in Johnston for a year.

 

The hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

 

There will be no entertainment.

 

Capacity is 36 persons.

 

Ms. Dourado states that she tried to contact the neighbors, but no one answered their doors.

 

Speaking in opposition is Jim Ruthowski, Public Housing Authority.

 

Mr. Ruthowski states that he doesn’t want the establishment turned into a night club. The restaurant is located across from Galego Court.

Also, present is Rafael Sandoval, 26 Lillian Avenue, Providence, RI, applicant

 

Attorney Horan states that Mr. Sandoval worked in the auto business for many years at various locations.

 

Mr. Sandoval states that he will be buying and selling cars.  We will only repair his own cars.
