A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at 7:01 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – 0.

 

Chairperson Moran presides.

 

 

The reading of the records of December 19, 2013 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.

 

With majority consent of the Board, the following motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, on behalf of Chairperson Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

The Clerk is instructed to issue a summons to Manmar, Inc., d/b/a East Street Liquors, 183 East Street, for the following reasons:

 

 

 

1.   On or about November 29, 2013:  Authorizing the sale or delivery to an underaged person for purposes of sale, possession or consumption of an alcoholic beverage on the license premises either for said underaged person’s own use or of any other person (Violation of R.I. Gen. Laws § 3-8-1).

 

2.   On or about November 29, 2013:  Failure to maintain control of patrons, agents or employees and/or permitting any of the laws of this state to be violated on the license premises (Violation of R.I. Gen. Laws § 3-5-23).

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR RUDD.

 

With majority consent of the Board, the following motion made by Councilor Rudd, seconded by Councilor Tetreault, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:

 

The Clerk is instructed to issue a summons to Jimenez, Mario d/b/a Fonseca A/S, 263 Dexter Street, for the following reason:

 

1.   Failure to pay the $500.00 fine ordered by the Board of License Commissioners at their September 11, 2013, meeting by the deadline of December 10, 2013.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Tetreault, the meeting is adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
