A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at 7:15 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Hodge, Mercer, Rudd, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of January 9, 2013 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

Upon motion made by Councilor Barros, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the following applications for licenses are GRANTED WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS, ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MERCER.
With majority consent of the Board, the following motion made by Councilor Mercer, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Michael Pate, regarding a reported violation of the stipulations on the licenses of his establishment, MVP Sports Pub & Restaurant LTD d/b/a MVP Sports Pub & Restaurant.
Councilor Mercer stated that on the evening of January 19, 2013, he received calls from residents complaining of excessive noise coming from this establishment. A police investigation determined that a band with five members was playing there.
This letter is to remind Mr. Pate of the stipulation that any time there is a band with three or more members at MVP Sports Pub, a police detail must be on duty at the pub. Any further violations may result in action by the Board of License Commissioners, including fines, suspension or revocation of these licenses.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Barry, the meeting is adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
