A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, April 9, 2012, at 7:31 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Moran, Councilors Barros, Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, O’Neill, Tetreault, Wildenhain and Vitali.
Absent – 0.
Chairperson Moran presides.
The reading of the records of April 25, 2012 is dispensed with and the records are APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE, WHICH WAS ADVERTISED FOR A HEARING AT THIS TIME, IS LAID ON THE TABLE UNTIL JUNE 20, 2012, ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE:

With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Wildenhain introduces the following communication:
Communication from Major Bruce Moreau, Pawtucket Police Department, to the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, regarding incidents at Nova Churrasqueira Restaurant, 434 Broadway.
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following communication is READ AND ORDERED FILED:
Communication from Major Bruce Moreau, Pawtucket Police Department, to the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners, regarding incidents at Nova Churrasqueira Restaurant, 434 Broadway.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the Board of License Commissioners calls a FORMAL HEARING for Wednesday, June 20, 2012, on the following license for the following reasons:
Nova Churrasqueira Restaurant J&M LTD, d/b/a Nova Churrasqueira Restaurant), 434 Broadway, LIC#5059
STIPULATIONS.
1. On or about April 14, 2012: Violation of the following stipulation placed on your liquor license (see attached police report #12-2222-OF):
A Detail Officer Must Be Present On Any Night That There Is Entertainment
2. On or about February 25, 2012: Failure to maintain control of patrons and/or employees, agents; and/or endangering the health, safety and welfare of the general public; and/or permitting the house or place where you are licensed to sell beverages under the provisions of Title 3 of the General Laws to become disorderly as to annoy and disturb the persons inhabiting or residing in the neighborhood; and/or permitting any of the laws of this state to be violated in the neighborhood (see attached police report #12-2222-OF) (Violation of R.I. Gen. Laws § 3-5-23).
3. On or about April 22, 2012: Failure to maintain control of patrons and/or employees, agents; and/or endangering the health, safety and welfare of the general public; and/or permitting the house or place where you are licensed to sell beverages under the provisions of Title 3 of the General Laws to become disorderly as to annoy and disturb the persons inhabiting or residing in the neighborhood; and/or permitting any of the laws of this state to be violated in the neighborhood (see attached police report #12-2365-OF) (Violation of R.I. Gen. Laws § 3-5-23).
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor O’Neill, the meeting is adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
