A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at 12:15 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Councilors Barry, Hodge, Moran, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Chairperson Kinch; Councilors Barros and Chadwick.
Vice Chairperson Hodge presides.
The reading of the records of July 7, 2010 is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Captain William Karalis, Pawtucket Police Department, to the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners. (Rosinhas Restaurant – Operating After Hours) is READ AND ORDERED FIELD.
Communication from Manuel DaCosta Rosa, Rosa’s Sunshine Lounge, Ltd d/b/a Sunshine Lounge to the Pawtucket City Council, requesting permission to serve alcoholic beverages outside in their parking lot at 110 School Street at a cookout with live guitar music, on Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. is READ AND ORDERED FILED AND THE REQUEST IS APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.
Communication from Rudy Hernandez, Vice President, Tierra Restaurant and Lounge to the Pawtucket City Council, requesting permission to serve alcoholic beverages, refreshments and appetizers between the restaurant building and the Pawtucket Times, on July 25, 2010, between 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. is READ AND ORDERED FILED AND THE REQUEST IS APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Barry, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to issue a Summons to Garrity Pub & Restaurant, Inc., d/b/a Corinne’s Banquets, 67 Garrity Street, Pawtucket, RI, to appear at an INFORMAL HEARING on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, the purpose of this hearing is to review the stipulations that are placed on the license:
STIPULATIONS:
1. One member of management shall be on duty at all times.
2. Licensee shall immediately notify District Councilor of any changes at establishment.
3. Pawtucket residents shall be given preference for employment.
4. A detail officer shall be hired on Friday and Saturday evenings from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. – when over 200 people are expected – a private detail may be used when less than 200 people are expected.
5. No storage trailers shall be located on the premises.
6. All doors must be kept closed at all times.
Upon motion made by Councilor Barry, seconded by Councilor Moran, the meeting is adjourned at 12:20 p.m.
