A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 7:14 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Kinch, Councilors Barros, Hodge, Moran, Tetreault, Vitali
Absent – Councilors Barry, Chadwick and Wildenhain.
Chairperson Kinch presides.
The reading of the records of March 11, 2009 is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE, WHICH WAS ADVERTISED FOR A HEARING AT THIS TIME, IS TAKEN UP:
CLASS B (Victualer)
Galway Bay, LLC d/b/a Galway Bay Irish Pub, 158 South Bend St. LIC#10274 (Expansion of premises)
Representing the license holder are Michael Naughton, President, Galway Bay, LLC, 156 South Bend Street, Pawtucket, RI and Sean Tevlin, Vice President, 1280 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
They state that they will add onto the bar area. The garage was demolished. They don’t have an official capacity from the fire marshal, but they expect it will be about 100 people.
There are no other speakers.
