Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 12:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Kinch, Councilors Barry, Chadwick, Hodge, Moran, Tetreault, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Barros.
Chairperson Kinch presides.
The reading of the records of July 8, 2009 is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR HODGE.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the following petition for license is APPROVED with the following stipulation:
Class F -1 (Full Privilege)
Petition of Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street, to sell alcoholic beverages at an Annual Church Festival on the Church Grounds, on Friday, August 14, from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 16, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. LIC#5229
STIPULATION:
1. Dumpster must be moved away from neighboring properties.
THE FOLLOWING PETITION FOR LICENSE IS APPROVED ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE:

Petition of Pawtucket Arts Festival Committee to sell beer and wine at Arts Festival, at various locations and dates (see attached list) LIC#5251
Communication from Duarte M. Farias, Secretary of Clube Social Portugues, 131 School Street, to sell alcoholic beverages in the Club parking lot during the Annual Picnic and Festival on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday, August 16, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. is READ AND ORDERED FILED AND THE REQUEST IS APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.
Upon motion made by Councilor Hodge, seconded by Councilors Barry and Moran, the meeting is adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
