Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at 6:54 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairperson Bray, Councilors Chadwick, Grebien, Hodge, Moran and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilors Barry and Kinch.
Chairperson Bray presides.
The reading of the records of November 18, 2008 is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION FOR LICENSE, WHICH WAS ADVERTISED FOR A HEARING AT THIS TIME, IS TAKEN UP:
CLASS C - Transfer
Dancinbr Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ray’s Boulevard Tap, (Transfer from Leonora R. Marques d/b/a Boulevard Tap) 572 Armistice Blvd. LIC#5049
Speaking in favor is Leonora Marques, 10 Lindesta Road, Pawtucket, RI, owner of Boulevard Tap and Raymond E. Clement, Jr., 27 Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, new applicant for Ray’s Boulevard Tap.
Mr. Clement states that the bar is currently run as a local neighborhood tavern. He will keep the establishment the same. Clientele is middle aged husbands and wives.
Mrs. Marques states that she had one employee, who is the manager.
Mr. Clement states that he will take over that job and run the business on his own.
COUNCILOR KINCH ARRIVES AT 7:00 PM.
Mr. Clement states that there is a juke box and pool table at the bar.
There are no other speakers.
The Hearing is closed.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR WILDENHAIN.
Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following license is APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote:
