Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners
February 22, 2006
A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at 6:55 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Hodge, Moran, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Chairman Grebien and Councilor Barry.
Vice Chairman Moran presides.
The reading of the records of February 8, 2006, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
A public hearing is held on the following application for license, which was advertised for a hearing at this time, is taken up:
CLASS B (Victualer)
Previous Stipulations
1. All bartenders must be Certified in an Alcohol Server Training Program.
2. All property taxes must be paid in full.
3. Water bills must be paid in full and brought up to date.
NEW STIPULATIONS ADDED ON 10/24/01
4. Detail Officer shall be hired every Friday and Saturday evening and any night before a legal Rhode Island holiday between the hours of 9:30 p.m.– 1:30 a.m. *Additional detail officer added 11/10/04.
*The additional detail officer remain until August 1, 2005. 5/25/05
*Detail officer reduced to 1 effective September 1, 2005, on Friday and Saturday 8/10/05
5. Monthly activity reports to be submitted the first meeting of each month, beginning with December 1, 2001.
6. Remove all 2:00 a.m. closing advertisements immediately.
Speaking in favor is Kevin Horan, Attorney, 393 Armistice Blvd, Pawtucket, RI, representing the applicant.
Councilor Clemente states that he will continue the Hearing until March 8, 2006, because of new information received on the applicants and to give police and legal department time to advise on the transfer.
There are no other speakers.

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR CLEMENTE.
Upon motion made by Councilor Clemente, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following license is continued until March 8, 2006, on a unanimous voice vote:

Middle Street LLC d/b/a Brago, (Transfer from Boson Associates Inc., d/b/a Macando) 242 Middle Street, LIC#10361

THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR CLEMENTE.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Clemente, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to George L. Kelly, III, Chief of Police and Margaret M. Lynch-Gadaleta, Esq., City Solicitor, asking that they review the police report regarding the applicants for the transfer from Boson Associates Inc. d/b/a Macondo to Middle Street LLC d/b/a Brago, and submit their recommendations in time for March 8, 2006, meeting.
Communication from Jarrod Ilkowitz/Manager, of Garrity Pub & Restaurant Incorporated, 67 Garrity Street, to Pawtucket City Council. (Adding the d/b/a name of Corinne’s Restaurant, Lounge & Banquet) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
Communication from Michael Paquette, Secretary/Treasurer, J K Club LLC d/b/a J K Club, 520 Central Avenue, to Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners. (Change of Officers) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
