Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Grebien; Councilors Barry, Bray, Carr, Clemente, Hodge, Moran, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – 0.
Chairman Grebien presides.
The reading of the records of January 19, 2005, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from Major Stephen P. Ormerod, Pawtucket Police Department, to Chief George L. Kelly, III. (State mandated liquor law compliance checks) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR MORAN.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, is passed on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to issue a Summons for a FORMAL HEARING on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, regarding selling intoxicating beverages to an underage person, to the following:
Great Entrepreneurial Endeavors Inc., d/b/a Gee’s Liquor, 400 Broadway.
Guil Viveiros, LLC., d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, 462 Central Avenue.
International Liquors Inc., d/b/a International Liquors of Prospect, 239 Prospect Street. Murphy’s Liquors Inc., 290 Pawtucket Avenue.
Vinh’s Brothers, Inc., d/b/a Lonsdale Liquors, 465 Lonsdale Avenue.

The Clerk is instructed to send a communication to Major Stephen P. Ormerod, asking that he review the stipulations on Cidade Velha Lounge Inc d/b/a C V Lounge, and report his comments in time for the next City Council meeting.
