A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at 6:10 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
Present – Chairman Grebien; Councilors Barry, Carr, Clemente, Hodge, Moran, Vitali and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Bray.
Chairman Grebien presides.
The reading of the records of December 7, 2005, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.
Communication from George L. Kelly, III, Chief of Police, to Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners. (Tabu Restaurant & Lounge, 17 Exchange Street) is READ AND ORDERED FILED.
THE CHAIR RECOGNIZES COUNCILOR CLEMENTE.
With majority consent of the Council, the following motion made by Councilor Clemente, seconded by Councilor Moran, is PASSED on a unanimous voice vote:
The Clerk is instructed to issue a Summons to Tropical Vibes Corporation d/b/a Tabu Restaurant & Lounge, 17 Exchange Street, RI, to appear at a FORMAL HEARING on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, for the following reasons:
Sale or delivery of an alcoholic beverage to an underaged person on the license premises for purposes of sale, possession or consumption, on or about December 4, 2005 (R.I.G.L 3-8-1).
Failure to maintain control of patrons and/or employees, agents; and/or endangering the health, safety and welfare of the general public; and/or permitting the house or place where you are licensed to sell beverages under the provisions of Title 3 of the General Laws to become disorderly as to annoy and disturb the persons inhabiting or residing in the neighborhood; and/or permitting any of the laws of this state to be violated in the neighborhood, on or about December 4, 2005 (R.I.G.L. 3-5-23).

Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the meeting is adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
