September 8, 2004

 

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners is held Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at 6:45 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. 

 

Present – Chairman Barry, Councilors Bray, Carr, Clemente, Hodge, Hoyas and Moran.

 

Absent – Councilors Grebien and Wildenhain.

 

Chairman Barry presides.

 

The reading of the records of August 25, 2004, is dispensed with and the records are approved as prepared by the Clerk.

 

Communication from Arcaro, Belilove, and Kolodney, Attorneys at Law, objecting to the transfer of Class A Liquor License of  Four G’s LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, 462 Central Avenue, to Guil Viveiros, LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, in the total amount of $16,700.17. is READ AND ORDERED FILED.

 

THE CHAIR RECORNIZES COUNCILOR BRAY.

 

With majority consent of the Council, Councilor Bray introduces the following communications:

 

Communication from Arcaro, Belilove, and Kolodney, Attorneys at Law, objecting to the transfer of Class A Liquor License of  Four G’s LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, 462 Central Avenue, to Guil Viveiros, LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, in the total amount of $892.63

 

Communication from Arcaro, Belilove, and Kolodney, Attorneys at Law, releasing it’s objection to the Class A Liquor License of  Four G’s LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors, 462 Central Avenue, to Guil Viveiros, LLC d/b/a Four G’s Liquors.

 

Upon Motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the following communications are READ AND ORDERED FILED:

Councilor Carr questions Mr. Viveiros in the absense of Councilor Wildenhain.  Mr. Viveiros states that he has experience in the liquor business.  There will be no changes in the business.  He will be open on Sundays.

 

There are no other speakers.

Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Hodge, a FORMAL HEARING is scheduled for Boson Associates Inc., d/b/a Macondo, on Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at 6:45 p.m. to answer some concerns regarding the establishment, filed by the police department.

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Bray, seconded by Councilor Hodge, the meeting is adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
